I'm partnering with a leading financial services organisation to identify experienced Data Scientists who want to solve complex business problems using cutting-edge AI and Machine Learning.

This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of Data Science, Generative AI and Agentic AI, developing intelligent solutions that improve customer experiences, automate processes and support better business decisions.

You'll work on real-world AI use cases across multiple business domains, with the opportunity to take solutions from experimentation through to production.

Your work will include:

Generative AI: Building AI copilots, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions and intelligent recommendation systems.

Machine Learning: Developing and deploying predictive models using modern ML techniques to solve complex business challenges.

Agentic AI: Exploring and implementing AI agents that automate decision-making and enable more intelligent customer engagement.

Data Science at scale: Working with large, structured and unstructured datasets to uncover actionable insights.

AI Engineering & Innovation: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to build scalable solutions using cloud platforms, MLOps and real-time data technologies.

Business Impact: Translating complex analytical findings into compelling data stories that influence business decisions.

Depending on your experience, there may also be opportunities to take on team leadership responsibilities.

What we're looking for

6–12 years of hands-on Data Science experience.
Strong programming skills in Python and experience with ML libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow or scikit-learn.
Practical experience in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP or related disciplines.
Exposure to Generative AI, LLMs, RAG architectures or Agentic AI.
Familiarity with SQL and big data technologies such as Apache Spark.
Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical solutions into business value.
A curious, collaborative mindset and a genuine passion for continuous learning and experimentation.
