About the Role
We are seeking a visionary and execution-oriented Lead Consultant to build and scale our AI Consulting capability. This individual will play a key role in refining our consulting service offerings across the AI maturity spectrum, leading and developing a team of consultants, and acting as the primary strategic advisor for selected Tier-1 and strategic clients.
This role combines practice leadership, client advisory, and commercial accountability, working closely with internal stakeholders to shape a scalable and sustainable AI consulting practice.
Key Responsibilities
Department Leadership & Strategy
- Methodology Design: Develop, standardize, and continuously refine consulting frameworks such as AI Readiness Assessments, ROI modelling, and AI Governance blueprints.
- Service Evolution: Evolve consulting offerings across the AI maturity journey (from exploration and pilots through enterprise scaling), ensuring relevance to market and client needs.
- Team Building: Recruit, mentor, and manage a mix of full-time and part-time consultants; oversee resourcing and allocation across engagements.
- Commercial Oversight: Accountable for departmental revenue contribution, consultant utilization, and project-level profitability.
Client Delivery & Advisory
- Strategic Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, translating complex AI and data concepts into business-driven roadmaps and operating models.
- Engagement Scoping: Lead high-value discovery and scoping phases for major accounts, ensuring initiatives are technically feasible, commercially sound, and aligned with client objectives.
- Quality Assurance: Provide oversight across consulting engagements to ensure consistent quality, delivery standards, and client satisfaction.
Business Development Support
- Sales Partnership: Partner with BD and Sales teams to provide technical and advisory input during pre-sales, proposal development, and client pitches.
- Thought Leadership: Represent Beyondsoft at industry events, executive briefings, and through white papers or webinars to strengthen market presence in AI consulting.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 7 years in professional services or management consulting, with at least 2 years focused on AI, data, or digital transformation initiatives.
- AI Maturity Expertise: Demonstrated experience guiding organizations across the AI lifecycle, from strategy and planning through implementation and scaling.
- Technical Literacy: Strong understanding of LLMs, MLOps, and data governance principles (hands-on coding not required, but ability to engage deeply with technical teams is essential).
- Communication: Excellent ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical and executive audiences.
- Leadership: Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams, including consultants, data scientists, and project or delivery managers.
