Meet Our Team

As a key contributor to the Pega's as a Service (aaS) Business and Strategy team, you will work cross-functionally with our Business Officers, Clients executive stakeholders, Product Management, and Security and Compliance teams to articulate Pega's Security policies and procedures. The aaS Business and Strategy Team are the key Go to Market leads for driving cloud/subscription adoption across new and existing Pega clients.

Within this role you will gain a broad level of experience to grow upon existing security policies, contractual knowledge and/or technical affinity and so better understand the commercials around operating in an as-as-Service business. This is a role where you can expand upon your aaS skills and grow in cloud knowledge and what it means for an aaS business transformation to grow and expand in different industries over the world.

What You'll Do At Pega

  • Become a Pega aaS Security expert, understanding the security and regulation required in the world and how these requirements can be mapped to the security and regulation policies Pega has in place
  • Engage with Pega internal teams and Clients procurement and executive stakeholders to address security questions or concerns and ensure a seamless process in understanding and defining contractual wording around security and operational policies.
  • Collaborate with the subject matter expert teams, Product Management, and compliancy team to address client/regional specific requirements to Pega's as-a-Service security and compliance.
  • Be the voice of the client for Product Marketing & Management and the advisor and consultant for the Sales group

Who You Are

You have a track record of success in supporting presales activities for business applications and complex solutions with a thorough understanding of Cloud Computing, SaaS and PaaS.

  • 5+ years of solutioning enterprise solutions in CRM, BPM or SaaS applications
  • 5-7+ years of technology business development or consulting experience with enterprise customers
  • Advanced knowledge of Cloud Applications, IaaS SaaS, and/or PaaS (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • You pride yourself in both business/management competencies and technology mastery
  • Strong knowledge of business processes and technology delivery approaches/models
  • Understanding and interest in technical business operations in relation to software services
  • Open-minded with appreciation of others diverse experiences, viewpoints, and understanding there are multiple ways to overcome an obstacle or develop a solution
  • Possess self and external awareness with emotional intelligence for attuning to customer and relational dynamics
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with an ability to influence mindsets of senior executives, and capable of interpreting and explaining technical speak to diverse audiences
  • Must be bilingual in English and Japanese

What You've Accomplished

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience (Masters preferred)
  • At least 5-7 years of Business Development, Sales, Consulting or Sales Consulting experience, ideally having worked through pricing, packaging, and/or negotiations of proposals and contracts.
  • At least 5 years of presales or implementing enterprise solutions in SaaS or PaaS space.
