GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Lead Business Analyst in the Client Value Stream Core Position Management is part of the Digital Delivery Unit within Digital Business Transformation, COO.
Lead business analysts are responsible for shaping strategic digital capabilities at Julius Baer to delivery state of the art client experiences. They combine deep domain expertise in portfolio analysis and calculation methodologies with technical product know how of portfolio management platforms. Lead business analysts drive the end-to-end requirements definition and seamlessly navigate within global team set ups and large strategic transformation programmes.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Management (internal & external)
. Internal: stakeholder management and alignments with technical and business teams at Julius Baer
. External: alignments with business and technical teams of vendors for requirements analysis
Business Management
Regulatory Responsibilities &/OR Risk Management
. Demonstration of appropriate values and behaviours including but not limited to standards on honesty and integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing (treating customers fairly), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, adequate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations
SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
Personal and Social
. Analytical thinking: ability to dissect complex business problems, identify root causes, and evaluate potential solutions
. Requirements specification and management: skilled in gathering, documenting, validating, and managing business requirements within complex global program set ups
. Stakeholder collaboration: proficient in engaging with diverse stakeholders across business and IT to build consensus
. Communication and facilitation: verbal and written communication skills capable of leading effective meetings and workshops
. Critical thinking and problem solving able to assess trade-offs, anticipate impacts, and propose viable options under constraints
Professional and Technical
. Relevant working experience of at least 10 years
. Portfolio Management (Triple'A, T24) domain knowledge: possesses understanding of wealth management industry and portfolio management processes
. Agile & SAFe methodologies: solid understanding of Agile principles, Scrum, Kanban, and the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), including roles, events, and artefacts
. Business process modelling: competent in mapping, analysing, and improving business processes
. User story development: expertise in writing clear, concise, and actionable user stories with appropriate acceptance criteria
. Data analysis literacy: comfortable interpreting data flows, performing basic data validation, and collaborating with data analysts or architects when needed
