Lead AI Engineer
We are hiring a Lead AI Engineer to take ownership of the technical direction and delivery of enterprise-scale AI and agent-driven solutions. This role combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership, translating business intent into production-ready systems while guiding teams toward high engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end technical architecture for AI and agentic solutions
- Translate business and architectural needs into clear technical plans
- Lead full-stack development across backend, frontend, APIs, and LLM orchestration
- Review designs and code to ensure quality, security, and scalability
- Drive integration with enterprise platforms and middleware
- Design hybrid workflows including LLMs, RAG, rules, and human-in-the-loop processes
- Establish engineering standards, monitoring, and production reliability
- Mentor engineers and support sprint planning and delivery
- Assess new AI capabilities and guide adoption into production
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, or similar
- 7+ years building software and AI systems, including 2+ years in a technical leadership role
- Strong hands-on skills in Python, TypeScript/Node.js, SQL, and API design
- Proven experience with LLM-based and agentic AI architectures
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, secure authentication, and enterprise integration
- Familiarity with LLMOps/MLOps and production AI best practices
