Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist the Pastor and CM Coordinator to strategize, plan and organise relevant CM programs in line with the church strategic directions.

2. Provide pastoral leadership and care to, and nurture of all CM members in their personal journeys of spiritual growth.

3. Provide relevant ad-hoc/ongoing training to equip CM leaders and teachers when necessary.

4. Organise team-building and bonding events for members serving in the Children's Ministry.

5. Assist in resourcing and, when necessary, developing CM materials and curricula for its purposes on request.

6. Assist the Pastor and CM Coordinator in providing administrative support to the Children's Ministry.

7. Assist the pastor and CM Coordinator in continually evaluating the needs of CM in order to improve/change existing programs/procedures and identify new opportunities/ areas to strengthen the church strategic thrust in these areas.

8. From time to time, when necessary, to coordinate with external agencies and organisations to effect the work of the Children's Ministry.

9. Participate in the corporate life and activities of the church, including being involved in church services when appointed to do so by the Pastor-in-Charge, all for the fulfilment of the CM objectives.

10. Any other duties assigned by the Reporting Officer.

Work Week & Requirements:

You are expected to work on Saturdays and Sundays, and a weekday off is given in compensation.

Requirements:

. Experience - At least 1 year of relevant ministry experience preferred.

. Special Aptitude - should possess good organisational, interpersonal, communication and leadership skills, and be a team player with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility.
