Laundry Technician

Location: Gambas Crescent

Salary: $2400 - $3000

Working Hours: Daily shifts (rotated, Mon - Sun)

- 7am -3.20pm
- 2pm -10.20pm

Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily preventive maintenance activities such as calibration and inspection of machine and related equipment.
• Maintain, clean and service industrial laundry equipment, to ensure optimal operational performance.
• Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on faulty or inoperative machines and equipment.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and implement appropriate corrective actions to restore operations.
• Collaborate with other teams to coordinate maintenance schedules and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, and equipment history.
• Manage and maintain inventories of spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies required for repairs and servicing activities.
• Carry out any other duties assigned by the Engineering Supervisor or Management from time to time.

Requirements:

• Minimum NITEC in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
• At least 1 to 3 years of experience in equipment maintenance, preferably involving large industrial machinery, or laundry plants.
• Comfortable working at heights and able to use safety harnesses and fall-protection equipment.
• Willing to work a 6-day work week and perform overtime when required for maintenance activities, breakdown recovery, or plant shutdowns.
