About the Role
We are seeking dedicated Laundry Helper to support laundry processing operations at our client facility. The role involves handling, sorting, washing, drying, and folding of linen and garments while ensuring quality, hygiene, and safety standards are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and sort soiled linens and garments before washing
- Operate laundry machines and equipment
- Sort and prepare linen for the washing process
- Check cleaned linen for quality before delivery
- Count and prepare delivery orders for hospitals
- Pack washed linen according to hospital requirements
- Remove damaged, stained, or unacceptable linen and any foreign objects
- Load cleaned linen and unload soiled linen from laundry vehicles
- Clean and sanitize linen trolleys when required
- Rotate and assist in different laundry sections when needed
- Follow Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) practices and safety regulations
- Report any workplace hazards or risks,if any
- Hand over any cash or valuables found during processing to the supervisor
- Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
- Basic communication skills in English
- Responsible and able to follow instructions
- Willing to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Prior experience in laundry operations or production environment.
