Lathe Operator

Responsibilities:

• Interpreting technical drawings to understand required dimensions, tolerances, and machining procedures
• Modification and production of spare parts
• Identify and request materials needed for modification and production
• Provide day to day support to mechanics
• Ensure safety practices are followed and housekeeping is maintained in accordance with safe work procedures
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Secondary or higher
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• Understanding of machine operation, cutting tools, and machining principles, math skills to calculate dimensions
