- Position Title: Laser Cladding Technician
- Working Location: Tuas
- Working Hours: 5.5 days (Mon to Fri 8AM 5PM, Sat 8AM 12PM)
- Salary Package: Basic Salary up to $4,200 + AWS + Bonus
- Duration: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Program, operate and maintain laser cladding equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Prepare substrates by cleaning and pre-treating surfaces to ensure effective bonding.
- Select appropriate cladding materials and parameters based on job requirement.
- Apply laser cladding techniques to repair and enhance components, following work instruction and best practices.
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure the integrity and consistency of cladded surfaces.
- Collaborate with supervisor & engineers to troubleshoot and optimize processes.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including consumable usage and process parameters.
- Perform routine maintenance on laser cladding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Ensure HS&E policies and procedures are followed at all times.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

- NITEC/Certification in Welding, or any related field
- Experience with laser cladding or similar advanced welding techniques are required
- Strong understanding of metallurgy and material properties & proficiency in operating laser cladding machinery and related tools are an added advantage
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
