Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for hydroculture landscape projects.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage a multidisciplinary team of horticulturists, technicians, and support staff.
  • Coordinate with senior management to align project goals with company objectives.

Design & Planning:

  • Oversee the design and planning of hydroculture landscapes, ensuring aesthetic appeal and ecological integrity.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, and designers to customize projects to client specifications.

Technical Management:

  • Supervise the installation, operation, and maintenance of hydroculture systems including hydroponic, water feature, and aquatic plant installations.
  • Ensure all systems operate efficiently, safely, and sustainably.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and implement solutions promptly.

Maintenance Oversight:

  • Oversee and manage existing maintenance contracts to ensure high-quality, timely, and cost-effective service delivery.
  • Conduct regular reviews and audits of maintenance performance and compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with maintenance service providers.

Sustainability & Compliance:

  • Promote environmentally sustainable practices in all projects.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and environmental laws.

Budgeting & Procurement:

  • Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation.
  • Source and procure plants, materials, and equipment necessary for projects.

Quality Control & Reporting:

  • Monitor project progress and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Provide regular reports to stakeholders on project status, challenges, and outcomes.

Research & Innovation:

  • Stay updated on the latest hydroculture technologies, trends, and best practices.
  • Incorporate innovative solutions to enhance project sustainability and visual impact.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience in hydroculture, landscape management, or related roles.
  • Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.
  • Technical expertise in hydroculture systems and water management.
  • Knowledge of sustainable landscaping practices and environmental regulations.
  • Experience overseeing maintenance contracts and service providers.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Certified Practitioner Horticulturist (CPH) or Certified Arborist (CA) certification is highly preferred.
  • Fresh graduates from polytechnics or ITE with relevant interests and foundational knowledge are also encouraged to apply. Training and development opportunities will be provided.
