Job Description

Landscape Designer

About Us

SCDA is an international practice integrating Architecture, Interiors and Landscape to create holistic spatial experiences. With offices in Singapore, Shanghai, Manila and New York City, SCDA has projects in over 80 locations across Asia, Africa, Europe, Oceania, and North America. In parallel, SCDA Lab pioneers social and cultural initiatives, applying research and design to enact measurable change and advance the environmental cause.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Landscape Designer to join our Singapore Headquarters. This role requires a confident designer who can take ownership of workstreams, travel when required, and engage professionally with consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders. You will play a key role in delivering high-profile international projects, translating strong design ideas into refined, buildable landscape outcomes across diverse global contexts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop architectural landscape projects from concept design through schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.
  • Represent the practice in coordination meetings with consultants, contractors, and project teams, both locally and overseas.
  • Travel as required to support project coordination, design development, and site-related matters.
  • Produce clear and compelling design material, including 3D models and visualisations (D5 Render, Lumion, 3ds Max), to communicate design intent effectively.
  • Work closely with architects and internal teams to ensure design quality, technical rigour, and alignment with project timelines and specifications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience, demonstrating strong design capability and the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in 3D visualisation and modelling tools (including D5 Render, Lumion, and 3ds Max), with working knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Revit, and Rhino.
  • Proven ability to communicate confidently with consultants and stakeholders, manage coordination processes, and resolve design and technical issues.
  • Strong design judgement, excellent communication skills, good organisational ability, and a high level of professional responsibility.

Why Join SCDA

At SCDA, you will be part of a design-led practice committed to creating exceptional spaces that positively impact communities and environments worldwide. We offer a dynamic studio environment, exposure to international projects, competitive compensation and benefits, and opportunities for long-term professional growth.

Application Process

Please submit your resume and portfolio, demonstrating strong design thinking and built or technically developed landscape projects, to [Confidential Information].
