The Land Surveyor performs land and engineering surveys required for the projects, updates boundary lines and prepares sites for construction so that legal disputes are prevented.
The Land Surveyors make precise measurements to determine property boundaries and provides data relevant to the shape and contour of the Earth's surface for engineering, mapmaking, and construction projects.
Job Description:
Responsible for surveying works during all stages of a construction project, ensuring that all measurements, setting out, calculations conducted during site survey are accurate.
Support the Quality Control / Quality Assurance Team in the checking of the correct setting up by the respective subcontractors.
Supervise and conduct land survey operation including calculation of survey data.
Verify Accuracy of all survey data.
Planning, arranging daily site survey work & reporting daily survey work to Construction Team.
Prepare the setting out drawing for construction purpose.
Liaise with the BIM team on setting out the issue.
Carry out site verification for as-built drawing.
Other ad-hoc duties by Management assigned from time to time.
Job Requirements:
Diploma in Land Surveying or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years experience in construction projects.
Knowledge of AutoCAD, Topographic Surveys, Geographic Information System (GIS).
Well versed in Total Station.
Good team player and ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
Sound understanding of work execution in relation to methodology, timeframes, productivity.
