Seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to support our Savory Applications team in developing exciting snack, culinary, and food solutions for regional and global customers.

You will work alongside experienced Application Technologists and gain exposure to product development, flavor technologies, laboratory operations, and customer-focused innovation projects.

What You'll Be Doing

As a key member of the Savory Applications team, you will:

Support Application Technologists in prototype development, flavor evaluations, sample preparation, and formula compounding activities.
Prepare customer-specific and country-specific application samples for internal and external evaluations.
Manage laboratory inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels of flavors, raw materials and consumables
Maintain the seasoning, flavor, and application libraries, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
Conduct shelf-life and stability studies to support product development and quality assurance initiatives.
Assist with packing, documentation, and shipment of samples to customers and regional teams.
Support QC testing, product evaluations, and laboratory documentation.
Ensure laboratory equipment is properly maintained and calibrated for safe operation.
Maintain high standards of laboratory cleanliness, organization, and workplace safety.
Coordinate the proper disposal of laboratory waste and expired materials in accordance with safety guidelines.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and laboratory effectiveness.

What We're Looking For

ITE, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Prior experience in food manufacturing, food laboratories, R&D, quality assurance, or flavor applications will be an advantage.
Knowledge of the flavor, food ingredient, FMCG, or food manufacturing industry is a plus.
Comfortable working in a laboratory environment and handling food powders and ingredients.
Physically able to handle sample preparation activities and lift materials up to 5kg when required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
Able to work effectively both independently and within a multicultural, cross-functional team environment.
