Function: Laboratory & Technical Services
Employment Type: 1-Year Contract (Convertible to Permanent)
We are looking for a motivated R&D Lab Technician to support our application engineers and scientists in laboratory testing and material evaluation activities. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on laboratory work and can work independently after structured training on equipment, processes, and data collection methods.
Perform application testing using laboratory equipment such as stencil printers, dispensers, die-attach bonders, and reflow ovens.
Conduct measurements and analyses including Bond Line Thickness (BLT), X-ray void analysis, optical/microscope imaging, and die shear testing.
Support R&D experiments and material evaluations in collaboration with engineers and scientists.
Operate laboratory tools independently after completing required training.
Maintain accurate and complete documentation of test results, observations, and procedures.
Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of laboratory equipment.
Ensure good laboratory housekeeping and strict adherence to safety guidelines.
Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in Engineering, Materials Science, Electronics, or a related field.
Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment, microscopes, and data collection is preferred.
Ability to work independently after training while following established procedures.
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
Comfortable working in a laboratory-based environment.
Structured training on specialized laboratory equipment and testing processes.
1-year contract with opportunity for conversion to permanent, subject to business needs and performance.
Company shuttle service available from Jurong East, Boon Lay, Punggol, and MacPherson MRT.
