Job Description

To support laboratory operations, maintenance and safety. Tasks will include:

• Laboratory operations & maintenance
• Implementation of safety processes
• Purchasing for laboratory & research needs
• Logistics support for field operations (booking of boats / transport, etc)
• Coordination for obtaining permits for field operations
• Field support for experiments, when required
  
  

Qualifications

• A good Bachelors degree or Diploma (Engineering / Science preferred, but other domains acceptable)
• Proactiveness & ability to work with minimal supervision
• Willingness to understand project needs and support researchers
• Good communication skills
• Goal-oriented attitude
• Team player
• Laboratory operations / management experience preferred
