Job Summary
The Laboratory Manager leads the laboratory's operations to support customer testing, product evaluation, and training. This role ensures effective lab management, equipment maintenance, safety compliance, and collaboration with internal teams and suppliers.

Responsibilities
- Lead the laboratory's daily operations to support customer TSRs, product evaluations, and training sessions with End-use and Product Group Managers
- Serve as the authorized Hazardous Substances Permit Holder, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
- Organize and lead monthly laboratory meetings with the Director and Lab Manager to align on objectives and progress
- Maintain accurate inventory status of raw materials, additive samples, and laboratory consumables, replenishing stock biannually
- Implement and maintain organized storage systems for raw materials, additives, and consumables to ensure easy identification and traceability
- Develop and oversee a maintenance schedule for all laboratory equipment, including air compressors and calibrated instruments, to ensure operational reliability
- Enforce housekeeping policies and ensure all laboratory users comply with safety and cleanliness standards
- Support End-use Market Managers by managing TSR data and documentation in the ELN-TSR online system
- Observe and enforce workplace safety and health regulations as outlined in the company's Risk Management System and Emergency Response Plan
- Ensure timely renewal of Risk Management System compliance, P&F Licence, and Hazardous Substances Permit
- Conduct annual safety briefings for all laboratory staff to maintain and refresh safety awareness
- Collaborate with co-suppliers on selected projects to support laboratory needs and initiatives
- Identify laboratory equipment requirements and source suitable suppliers to meet operational demands
- Demonstrate initiative, self-motivation, and drive to achieve agreed objectives
- Foster teamwork and willingly undertake tasks assigned by local management
