- Perform routine and non-routine analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using Rubber, Solid, Slurry, and Gas Chromatography techniques to ensure adherence to quality spectrophotometers, balances, and other analytical instruments.
- Prepare samples for analysis by following established protocols, including sample extraction, dilution, filtration, and other sample preparation techniques.
- Record and interpret test results accurately, maintaining detailed and organized documentation of laboratory activities and data.
- Assist in the development and validation of new analytical methods or modification of existing methods to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Follow established quality control procedures to ensure the reliability and accuracy of laboratory results, including proficiency testing and equipment calibration.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, maintaining a clean and safe working environment. Comply with regulatory requirements and standard operating procedures.
- Assist in troubleshoot instrument or method-related issues, working collaboratively with laboratory staff and technical support to resolve problems.
- Assist in routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of laboratory instruments, ensuring their proper functioning and accuracy.
- Assist in the inventory management of laboratory supplies, chemicals, and reagents, ensuring an adequate supply for ongoing operations.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting and implementing process improvements and efficiency enhancements.
