Responsibilities & Requirement:

• 0-2 Years of experience
• keep analytical chemistry/materials testing lab equipment maintained and operating.
• Coordinate frequent summarization of lab work and lab facilities.
• digitalization of lab analysis result.
• Provide technical support at the Material Science Lab in HP,
• Operate analysis instruments for electronics products, including FTIR/ GCMS/ XRF/ SEM/ EDS/ Real time X-ray radiography/ metallographic sample preparation / Mechanical Testing Systems and Reliability Testing Systems
• Operate metrology equipment – hardness, mechanical testing machines, optical measurement systems
• Perform quality, reliability and failure analysis on electronic product assemblies

More clarification:

1. Is lab experience in analytical chemistry/materials testing a must-have; Yes. Experience in analytical chemistry, materials testing, and failure analysis would be preferred.
2. Which lab instruments are non-negotiable for candidates (FTIR, GCMS, XRF, SEM, EDS); FTIR, TGA, XRF, SEM-EDS, X-ray, and digital microscope.
3. Any requirements for education/major; A Bachelor's degree in Science (Applied Materials, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field).
4. What are your top priorities when evaluating candidates

• Experience with analytical instruments.
• Experience in performing quality, reliability, and failure analysis.
• Strong understanding of materials/chemical analysis and test methods.
• Ability to respond to customer requests and communicate clearly.
