Note:
- Location: NorthEast (NE) Region (Walking distance from MRT Station)
- Working Days: Monday to Friday (5-day work week)
- Contract: 1 Feb 2026 to 31 Dec 2026
- Mon, Tue, Wed & Fri: 8:00 am - 2:30 pm (inclusive of 30-minute lunch break)
- Thursday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
- No service required on: Saturdays and Sundays, Gazetted public holidays, June school holidays & December school holidays
Job Scope -
- Set up and prepare materials, apparatus, and equipment for daily experiments and performance tasks
- Support smooth conduct of lab practicals and assist teachers with troubleshooting during lessons
- Conduct biannual lab safety reviews and recommend improvements to the HOD
- Coordinate procurement of science equipment and learning resources
- Maintain and track inventory, equipment condition, and lab usage schedules
- Assist teachers with lesson preparation and practical planning when required
- Maintain safety, cleanliness, and upkeep of science labs, learning spaces, outdoor areas, and hydroponics/ponds
- Care for living organisms used in labs (e.g. insects, fish)
- Collaborate with the Science Department to enhance students practical learning experiences
- Improve lab setup and learning environments where necessary
- Support CCA activities (e.g. Environmental / Sustainability CCA activities), competitions, and training
- Provide administrative support to the General Office during school holidays or when required
- Perform any other duties assigned by school leadership
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in a laboratory or clinical environment
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic ICT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
