Your Job
As a Specialist, Lab Planning, you will play a central role in ensuring the smooth execution of reliability testing activities across the organization. You will be responsible for planning and coordinating lab schedules, managing equipment and manpower resources, supporting procurement activities, and helping the team meet project timelines efficiently. This role is critical in maintaining operational readiness, optimizing lab throughput, and supporting ISO 17025 compliance.
Our Team
You will be part of the TIS, GRTS Reliability Lab team, working closely with test engineers, lab technicians, procurement, and finance partners to ensure seamless operations. Our team thrives on collaboration, clear communication, and continuous improvement, with a shared commitment to delivering highquality testing for global projects.
What You Will Do
- Develop and manage detailed test schedules, ensuring alignment with manpower, equipment, fixtures, and environmental chamber availability.
- Review incoming test plans and assess resource needs across equipment, instrumentation, and personnel.
- Coordinate closely with test engineers and lab technicians to allocate resources and resolve scheduling conflicts.
- Serve as the key communication bridge among test engineering, lab operations, procurement, finance, and external vendors.
- Support procurement activities, including obtaining quotations, managing outsourced tests, and raising PRs via Coupa.
- Track PR/PO status to prevent delays and ensure timely availability of test consumables and services.
- Coordinate shipment preparation, documentation, and tracking for outsourced reliability tests.
- Maintain and update planning tools; support digitalization and workflow improvement initiatives.
- Highlight risks, delays, or bottlenecks early and recommend recovery actions.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Diploma or Graduate Certificate in Project Management.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in project planning, test labs, manufacturing, or technical operations.
- Strong planning, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Understanding of reliability testing workflows and lab operations.
- Experience with procurement systems such as Coupa.
- Proficiency in planning/scheduling tools, Microsoft Excel, and dashboards (e.g., Power BI).
