- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including calibration and troubleshooting
- Perform tests and analyses on samples to support production and ad hoc requests
- Record results and communicate findings with the operations team
- Prepare reagents, standards, and calibration solutions for testing
- Manage lab supplies, chemicals, and consumables to ensure smooth workflow
- Support risk assessments and uphold safe laboratory practices
- Train and provide technical guidance to lab technicians
- Assist in developing and validating new testing methods
- Write, update, and maintain lab procedures and quality records
- Coordinate ad hoc analysis with third-party labs and support investigations of complaint samples
- Manage retention samples for raw materials and finished products
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma Chemistry / Degree in Chemistry or equivalent
- At least 2-5 years of experience in an analytical laboratory environment in the chemical industry
- Prior knowledge in lab equipment such as GC, HPLC, Automatic Titrators, AAS, UV Spectrometer, Glass Oven, Rotary evaporator, Density meter, X-ray, TOC-Analyzer, Molecular sieve, TGA Analyzer etc. will be an advantage.
