We are looking for a seasoned L3 Production Support Lead (Java) who can balance good coding skills with deep production support expertise. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Core Java, troubleshooting complex production issues, and implementing DevOps practices for stability and scalability.
Responsibilities:
- Lead L3 production support for critical applications, ensuring high availability and quick resolution of incidents.
- Analyze and resolve complex issues in Java-based applications.
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to optimize performance and reliability.
- Implement best practices for incident management and root cause analysis.
- Automate recurring tasks and improve system efficiency through scripting and tools.
- Optimize SQL queries and database performance.
- Monitor and analyze application logs, system health, and job executions.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Core Java (OOP, Collections, Exception Handling, Multithreading), Spring Boot and SQL Server.
- Incident Management Lifecycle - Solid understanding of ITIL processes.
- Experience in Linux/Unix , Shell Scripting and Autosys.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, monitoring tools, and production stability practices.
- Knowledge of performance tuning for Java applications
- Experience with caching (Redis or similar).
- Exposure to cloud environments (AWS).
