L2 Network Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced L2 Network Engineer to provide network support, troubleshooting, configuration and implementation services in a banking environment. The role involves handling network incidents, installations, break/fix activities and supporting network infrastructure changes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2 support for network infrastructure, troubleshooting and escalated incidents.
• Perform network configuration, installation, break/fix and problem resolution activities.
• Handle assigned tasks end-to-end and ensure timely completion as per project requirements.
• Support network design, configuration and change activities within defined change windows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues, escalating complex problems to relevant teams or third parties.
• Support network implementations and take ownership of assigned installation activities.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, SOPs and project-related records.
• Work closely with clients, internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure effective issue resolution.
• Conduct basic technical presentations and provide updates to stakeholders when required.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Cisco Routing & Switching.
• Working knowledge of Cisco ACI.
• Experience with F5 LTM / Load Balancers.
• Good understanding of network troubleshooting, configuration and incident management.
• Exposure to enterprise network environments, preferably banking or large-scale infrastructure.
