Job Title: L2 Network Engineer F5 & Firewall (24x7 Operations)

About the Role
- We are looking for an experienced L2 Network Engineer to join our Network & Security Operations team in Singapore. This is a 24x7 shift-based position supporting F5 Load Balancers and Firewall infrastructure within a Command Centre environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on operational experience in incident management, network troubleshooting, and security operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2 support for F5 Load Balancers and Firewall infrastructure in a 24x7 Command Centre environment
- Monitor network and security devices, ensuring high availability and performance
- Perform incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and timely resolution of network/security incidents
- Escalate critical issues to L3 teams/vendors when required
- Execute standard operating procedures (SOPs), runbooks, and change management activities
- Participate in shift rotations, including weekends and public holidays
- Maintain proper documentation for incidents, changes, and operational activities
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in network and security operations
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of IT experience, with at least 1 year as a Command Centre Engineer
- Hands-on experience in network monitoring and troubleshooting
- Experience supporting F5 Load Balancers and Firewall technologies
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network security fundamentals
- Ability to work in a 24x7 shift environment
Certifications (Mandatory & Preferred)
- Mandatory:
- CompTIA A+ (or equivalent)
- ITIL v3 Foundation Certification
- Preferred:
- CompTIA Network+
- CompTIA Security+
- Equivalent networking or security certifications
