About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Level 1 End-User Computing (EUC) Engineer to provide on-site technical support for our client. You will be the first point of contact for IT issues related to desktops, laptops, end-user devices, and user access. This is a dedicated, on-site position requiring professionalism, strong communication skills, and adherence to customer policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 1 technical support for desktop, laptop, and end-user device hardware/software issues.
- Assist users with network connectivity and access to network resources.
- Prepare, image, and deploy desktop/notebook systems.
- Perform user account management, including account creation, modification, deletion, and password resets.
- Assist with installation of applications, patches, and software updates on end-user computing devices.
- Escalate issues when necessary and collaborate with higher-level support teams.
- Carry out additional Level 1 IT support tasks as assigned by the customer.
- Ensure all work complies with the customer's IT policies, procedures, security standards, and code of conduct.
Requirements
- Diploma or relevant certification in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in IT support / EUC / Helpdesk preferred.
- Familiarity with Windows OS, Office applications, and common end-user software.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, shared resources).
- Experience with device imaging and deployment tools is an advantage.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle tasks in a structured, professional manner.
- Willingness to work on-site daily and follow customer schedules and policies.
