KYC / Source of Wealth Remediation Analyst (Private Banking) - 12 months

Job Summary

Our client, a private bank, seeks a KYC / Source of Wealth (SOW) Remediation Analyst to review and enhance client SOW profiles and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist Client Advisors in identifying and addressing gaps in client SOW profiles to comply with current regulatory standards and internal policies
• Review and update SOW information and supporting documents to align with the latest compliance standards
• Collaborate with Client Advisors to obtain additional information and documentation necessary to complete client reviews
• Prepare and improve SOW narratives by detailing wealth generation drivers, plausibility justifications, and materiality assessments
• Independently validate and verify corroborating documents for accuracy and completeness
• Escalate AML red flags promptly to the AML team or Money Laundering Reporting Officer for further investigation
• Work closely with quality assurance reviewers and SOW checkers to resolve identified quality issues efficiently
• Perform name screening as required to support compliance efforts
• Consistently meet assigned targets while maintaining high accuracy and quality standards
• Support ad hoc initiatives and projects to enhance remediation processes and compliance controls

Required competencies and certifications

• 3-4 years of KYC / AML experience in private banking
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Strong attention to detail and effective written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and consistently meet assigned targets

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience as a KYC / SOW maker or in remediation
