Execute comprehensive Know-Your-Customer (KYC) and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) workflows, managing the end-to-end process for both new customer onboarding and periodic reviews.
Operates as a critical support function within the First Line of Defense, ensuring all activities align with the bank's internal AML/KYC Policies and Procedures and meet Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) standards.
Conduct thorough risk assessments and verify the completeness of all supporting documentation and CDD information for the client base
Perform detailed name screening and searches for both prospective clients and the existing customer base (including ad-hoc requirements).
Maintain and update customer lists, records, and static customer data in T24 (upon access availability for the Singapore branch).
Oversee the maintenance of static information for batch screening, including the systematic clearing of alerts and completeness checks.
Manage KYC/CDD trigger events and ensure all follow-up actions are executed in compliance with bank policy.
skills and experience required
A degree or diploma in a relevant field such as Business, Banking, Finance, or Accounting, or equivalent practical experience.
Proven experience in performing KYC within a banking environment, demonstrating a strong understanding of the end-to-end process.
Proficiency in banking operations and internal controls, with a specific focus on anti-money laundering (AML) frameworks.
Background in internal or external auditing is highly regarded and will be considered an asset to the team.
