Job Title: Kitchen Helper & Dishwasher
Job Summary:
Regale Restaurant is seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helper & Dishwasher to support daily kitchen operations. The successful candidate will assist with basic food preparation, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and ensure all kitchenware and utensils are properly cleaned and sanitized in accordance with food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash and clean dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using manual or dishwashing machines
- Ensure all kitchenware is properly sanitized and stored in designated areas
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, workstations, and waste disposal areas
- Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks such as washing vegetables, cutting ingredients, and portioning items
- Dispose of kitchen waste and recycling according to hygiene and safety standards
- Replenish cleaning supplies and inform supervisors when stocks are low
- Follow food hygiene, workplace safety, and sanitation standards at all times
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries when required
- Perform other ad-hoc kitchen duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Supervisor
Requirements:
- No prior experience required training will be provided (experience in kitchen or dishwashing roles is an advantage)
- Physically fit and able to stand for long hours
- Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Responsible, punctual, and willing to learn
- Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays if required
Working Hours:
5 days work week.
