Job Summary
Prepare and cook grains, plant-based proteins, and sauces following recipes to ensure consistent taste and presentation. Maintain hygiene and food safety standards, including strict vegan food handling and FIFO practices, in a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare grains, plant-based proteins, stir-fry items, and sauces according to recipes to ensure quality and consistency
- Ensure consistent taste, portioning, and presentation of all dishes served
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation to meet health and safety standards
- Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures, proper labeling, dating, and stock rotation to minimize waste and ensure food safety
- Handle vegan food strictly to prevent cross-contamination and maintain dietary integrity
- Prepare rice, bento side dishes, vegetables, and plant-based proteins accurately for meal sets
- Portion and plate bento sets precisely to meet presentation standards
- Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and organized workstations to support efficient kitchen operations
- Practice proper food storage standards to preserve freshness and safety
Required competencies and certifications
- WSQ Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

- Experience in a similar food concept environment
