Job Summary

Prepare and serve cold dishes and staple foods while maintaining portion control, food quality, and kitchen hygiene to support smooth restaurant operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, mix, plate, and serve cold dishes to meet restaurant presentation and quality standards
• Produce staple food items consistently according to recipes and restaurant requirements
• Maintain portion control and ensure food quality aligns with restaurant standards
• Assist with daily preparation, proper storage, and organized stock management of ingredients
• Clean and sanitize kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils to uphold hygiene standards
• Follow food safety protocols and kitchen hygiene requirements during all food preparation activities
• Collaborate with the chef and kitchen supervisor to complete additional kitchen duties as assigned

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Prior experience in preparing cold dishes, staple foods, or related kitchen work
