Key Responsibilities
Assist chefs with basic food preparation such as washing, cutting, and portioning ingredients
Prepare vegetables, meats, and other ingredients for cooking
Help with simple cooking tasks when required
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
Ensure proper storage of food and ingredients
Dispose of kitchen waste and keep workstations tidy
Follow food safety and hygiene standards (NEA guidelines in Singapore)
Assist with receiving and checking delivered supplies
Support kitchen staff during busy service periods
Requirements
No experience required training can be provided
Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety is an advantage
Good teamwork and communication skills
Physically able to stand for long hours

Experience working in restaurants, cafs, or food outlets
Basic knife and food preparation skills
Responsible, hardworking, and punctual
Shift work including weekends and public holidays
Work in a busy and fast-paced kitchen environment
