Kitchen Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of food products (e.g. curry puff production, rice dumpling wrapping)
• Support packing of cooked food items according to company standards
• Ensure food quality, consistency, and hygiene standards are maintained at all times
• Follow food safety guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, equipment, and workstations
• Work closely with team members to meet daily production targets
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisor

Job Requirements

• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Comfortable working in a food production / central kitchen setting
• Responsible, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Physically fit to perform standing work and basic food preparation tasks
• Able to maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety
• Prior kitchen or food manufacturing experience will be an advantage
