We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helper to assist in daily kitchen operations. The role involves supporting chefs and kitchen staff in food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring smooth kitchen workflow in compliance with food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in basic food preparation (washing, cutting, peeling ingredients)
- Support chefs in cooking and meal preparation as directed
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
- Dispose of kitchen waste according to hygiene and safety guidelines
- Receive and store food supplies correctly
- Follow food hygiene and safety standards at all times
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor or chef
Job Requirements
- No formal education required
- Prior experience in kitchen or F&B environment is an advantage
- Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to work weekends and public holidays if needed
- Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Basic understanding of food hygiene preferred
Work Location - Robinson Road
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 10:00am - 10:00pm. Includes 1-hour unpaid lunch break and 1-hour unpaid dinner break
- Saturday: 10:00am - 2:00pm
- Sunday: Off day
- No rotating shifts
Note
- Breaks are unpaid and subject to operational schedule
- Overtime (if any) will be compensated in accordance with Singapore labour regulations
Requirements
- No formal education required
- Prior kitchen/F&B experience is an advantage
- Able to work long hours in a fast-paced environment
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods
- Responsible, punctual, and willing to learn
- Able to follow instructions and work as a team
Salary & Benefits
- Monthly salary: SGD1,800
- Overtime pay (subject to MOM regulations)
