Kitchen Assistant

Are you passionate about food and looking to kickstart your career in the culinary world Join our dynamic team as a Kitchen Assistant and dive into the heart of the kitchen action!

Responsibilities:

• Assist chefs and cooks in food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and marinating meats.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area by maintaining a tidy work station, washing dishes, and sanitizing equipment.
• Assist in receiving and storing deliveries of food and supplies.
• Follow food safety standards and regulations to maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.
• Support the kitchen team during service by fulfilling various tasks as needed, such as plating dishes, garnishing plates, and coordinating with servers.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not required on-the-job training will be provided.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from senior kitchen staff.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
