Kitchen Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook Chinese meals
• Assist in basic food preparation (washing, cutting, portioning ingredients)
• Support cooks and kitchen staff during meal service
• Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, workstations, and dining areas
• Wash dishes and ensure proper storage of kitchen tools
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with food safety standards
• Assist in receiving, checking, and storing food supplies
• Dispose of kitchen waste properly and maintain a tidy work environment
• Follow health, safety, and workplace procedures at all times

Requirements & Skills

• Basic knowledge of kitchen operations (training can be provided)
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Physically fit and able to stand for long hours
• Awareness of food hygiene and safety practices
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Non-halal dishes (Pork)
