Kitchen Assistant

Assist with food preparation, including washing, cutting, peeling and portioning ingredients.

Prepare ingredients according to kitchen requirements and instructions.

Assist chefs and kitchen staff with daily food preparation and cooking activities.

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, food preparation areas and equipment.

Wash and clean kitchen utensils, cookware and equipment.

Receive, check and properly store food supplies and ingredients.

Monitor and replenish ingredients and kitchen supplies when required.

Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures.

Assist with packing and preparation of food orders.

Dispose of waste appropriately and maintain proper housekeeping.

Perform other kitchen-related duties assigned by the supervisor or chef.
