Main Responsibilities

Food Preparation

• Assist chefs in basic food preparation duties
• Wash, peel, cut, and prepare ingredients
• Prepare simple dishes and mise en place as assigned

Kitchen Operations

• Assist in receiving and storing food supplies
• Ensure ingredients are properly labelled and stored
• Support chefs during service operations

Cleaning & Hygiene

• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and workstations
• Wash kitchen utensils, dishes, and cooking equipment
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene and workplace safety standards

Inventory Support

• Assist in stock arrangement and stock rotation
• Report low stock items to supervisors or chefs

Team Support

• Support kitchen team in daily operations
• Carry out duties assigned by Head Chef or Sous Chef
