Assist the FCE teachers in preparation of food for the day-to-day lessons, or whenever necessary for lessons/ school
Receive groceries and ensure food is hygienically stored and food storage areas are kept clean
Maintain correct stock levels, ensure stock rotation and all stock is clearly labeled to include expiry dates
Inform teachers should there be insufficient ingredients
Ensure high standards of hygiene and safety are maintained at all times in the two kitchens through daily general cleaning, including sweeping and mopping the floors, cleaning of table tops, sinks, cookers, stoves, kitchen equipments,and weekly wiping of the windows
Ensure all crockery, utensils and cloths are washed after use
Daily disposable of the garbage bags to bins outside the kitchens
Able to work well independently as well as within a team
Maintain excellent health and hygiene procedures on food preparation
Perform stock-take duties of consumables such as detergents
Any other duties assigned by FCE teachers, HOD/ Aesthetics and School Leaders
Requirement:
A Primary Education with PSLE or equivalent certification
1 year of experience in basic food handling & preparation in the school kitchen environment
