This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced Key Account Manager to drive sales growth and strengthen the market presence of a globally recognized brand in the travel accessories industry. As a Key Account Manager, you will focus on developing strong relationships with key accounts and expanding distribution channels in the Singaporean travel retail and wholesale markets. Play a pivotal part in nurturing relationships with key accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales strategies. A critical success factor will be your ability to build distribution networks and open new accounts, solidifying the company's position in the Singapore market.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, focusing on growth within Singapore's travel retail and wholesale distribution channels.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and potential clients, with a key focus on expanding the distribution network and opening new accounts in Singapore.
- Build and execute account strategies to drive sales growth, meet revenue targets, and strengthen brand presence.
- Engage directly with key buyers to understand their requirements, address challenges, and provide customized solutions aligned with the company's products.
- Conduct regular business reviews with clients in Singapore's wholesale and travel retail sectors, assessing needs and identifying ways to support their business goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Marketing, Product Development, Operations) to ensure seamless delivery of products and services to Singaporean clients.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions within Singapore's wholesale and travel retail markets to maintain a competitive edge.
- Prepare and present detailed sales reports, forecasts, and account status updates specific to the Singapore market to senior management.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements in alignment with company policies and objectives.
- Provide feedback from clients in the Singapore wholesale and travel retail sectors to inform product development and improve the overall customer experience.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of sales experience with FMCG
- Strong knowledge of Singapore's wholesale and travel retail markets, industry trends, and local business culture.
- Minimum O Levels or equivalent
