Purpose of the Position:
To manage sales plans and processes for consolidated and potential customers, within a specific vertical, in line with the company&aposs strategy and guidelines.
Key Tasks:
- Drive new business in assigned vertical, formulate new business develop plan based on target industry segment or targeted regions.
- New business development with focus on Contract Logistics products and meet objectives and budget on new business gain.
- To develop account strategies with specific objectives and action items for the Singapore and Malaysia Cluster
- Resolving key clients issues and complaints
- Work on RFQ/RFP responses, manage the bid process and work closely with solution team.
- Collaborate with global/regional BD team and handle sales lead properly.
- Manage and develop customer relationships, develop growth strategy for customer.
- Conduct contract negotiation and renewal with customer.
- Manage customer escalations, incl. customers requirements, concerns, complaints and service issues, and work with operation team in developing resolutions.
- Conduct regular business review / QBR with assigned customers for continuous service improvement.
- Conduct analysis on customers P&L and KPIs to identify focus area for improvements
- Anticipate proactively customer needs and changes and offer corresponding new solutions.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on customers initiatives and strategies to facilitate
- developing strategic account development plan.
- Work closely with solution & CI team to identify and achieve CIP for major customers.
- Work closely with RDC and Region to monitor and follow up KPI, stock count, POD return, audits and corrective actions to achieve the target from customer.
- Support GDP compliance if needed
- Be involved and oversee HHL projects as and where needed. Provide operational support in HHL related shipments.

- Within the defined areas of responsibility
- In accordance with staff manual book
- Exception handling ONLY after consulting with line manager.
Function / Market & Industry Knowledge / Business Acumen / Process working:
- Knowledge of the sector and products, techniques and methods of international shipments
- Knowledge of the terminologies and main contents of Sea, Air, Rail and Land services
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of Customer Service requirements
- Comprehensive understanding of HWL systems functionality
- Basic geography knowledge

- Professional sales skills, good interpersonal skills and teamwork

Educational background / Work experience:
- Bachelor&aposs Degree holder or above in logistics, transportation or related disciplines
- 10 years&apos experience in logistics and transportation industry
- Proven sales track record with existent client portfolio
Language skills:
- Fluent in written and spoken English and local language. Further languages of advantage;
Computer literacy:
- Proficiency in office software&aposs skills
