Key Responsibilities:
Account Management (80% - Farmer)
Manage and maintain strong relationships with existing key accounts across international markets
Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and long-term partnership.
Coordinate end-to-end trade execution, including contract management, shipping logistics, and documentation.
Monitor market trends, client needs, and competitor activity to provide strategic insights.
Business Development (20% - Hunter)
Identify and develop new business opportunities within the commodities trading space.
Expand client portfolio by acquiring new accounts
Support the Business Development Director in executing growth strategies.
Operations & Coordination
Oversee trade operations including shipping, scheduling, and compliance with international trade regulations.
Ensure accuracy and timeliness in documentation (contracts, invoices, shipping documents).
Liaise with shipping partners, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Shipping, Logistics, International Trade, Business, or related field.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in commodities trading, shipping, or related industries.
Able and willing to travel overseas frequently
Strong understanding of international trade operations, especially in raw materials
Proven experience in key account management and client relationship building.
Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment.
