We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Key Account Manager to drive business growth within the High-Tech (Semiconductors, Electronics, IT Hardware) and Financial Services (Banking, FinTech, Trading) sectors.
This is a strategic hunter role focused on penetrating premium sectors where procurement is driven by formal tenders and complex decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong industry knowledge, proven tender management expertise, and the ability to build long-term client relationships based on trust and performance.

Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Business Development
- Identify, target, and secure new logistics contracts with companies in the High-Tech and Financial Services sectors.
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline aligned with company growth targets.
- Monitor industry tender platforms and alert services to identify upcoming opportunities.
2. Tender Management (End-to-End)
- Lead the full tender lifecycle (RFQ, RFP, RFI) from receipt to submission for High-Tech and Financial Services clients.
- Analyze tender documents to understand client requirements, compliance needs, and evaluation criteria.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Operations, Pricing, Legal, Finance) to develop competitive, compliant, and profitable tender responses.
- Prepare and submit high-quality tender proposals, ensuring all technical and commercial requirements are met.
- Manage tender timelines, queries, and bid submissions viaclient procurement portals (e.g., Ariba, SAP Ariba).
3. Sales & Account Management
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to proposal, negotiation, and closing.
Develop customized logistics solutions (Air Freight, Ocean Freight, Warehousing, White-Glove Services, or Secure Transit) tailored to strict industry requirements.
Conduct regular business reviews with existing clients to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
4. Relationship Management
- Build and nurture long-term, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders, including procurement teams and C-level executives.
- Act as the primary liaison between the client and internal operations teams to ensure service excellence during contract execution.
- Address and resolve client concerns promptly and professionally.
5. Market Intelligence
- Stay abreast of trends impacting the Tech (e.g., just-in-time manufacturing, chip shortages) and Finance sectors (e.g., regulatory shipping compliance, insurable value of goods).
- Track competitor activity and tender award results to refine bidding strategy.

Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of Sales / Key Account Management experience in the Logistics or Freight Forwarding industry.
- Tender Expertise: Proven experience managing and winning tenders/RFQs for corporate clients, preferably within the Tech or Finance sectors.
- Industry Knowledge: Demonstrated understanding of supply chain requirements for High-Tech or Financial Services clients.
- Sales Track Record: Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and secure long-term contracts.
