Job Responsibilities
- Lead the build-out of real-time tick data pipelines, signal engines, and order analytics
- Design scalable KDB+/q architecture across RDB/HDB, memory optimization, and distributed compute
- Partner with traders, quants, and dev teams across regions to deliver mission-critical infrastructure
- Guide a team of q engineers, driving best practices in coding, testing, and performance tuning
- Push the boundaries on latency, throughput, and data fidelity in high-frequency environment
Job Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- At least 8 years of deep KDB+/q engineering experience (tick capture, schema design, analytics pipelines)
- Strong background in equities trading systems, market data models, and exchange protocols
- Experience leading delivery of low-latency, high-availability production systems
- Proven leadership in hands-on development, architecture, and mentoring
