The Company

Our client, an MNC in the logistics industry is looking to hire an AR Accountant.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end Accounts Receivable function, including invoicing, credit control, collections, cash application and customer account reconciliation. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and customers to resolve billing discrepancies, manage overdue balances, support healthy cash flow, month-end closing, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, GST reporting, fixed asset accounting, audit requirements and management reporting, while contributing to finance process and system improvement initiatives.

Your Profile

You should possess a Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline, with at least 3 years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control or General Accounting. You should have strong knowledge of AR processes, collections, reconciliations and GST compliance, along with good analytical skills, attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience within the logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain or transportation sector, as well as exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, multinational/multi-currency environments, audits and statutory reporting, will be advantageous. Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is preferred.
