Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated Junior Web Developer to join our growing team in Singapore. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about web technologies and eager to learn while contributing to real-world projects. You will assist in building, maintaining, and optimizing web applications under the guidance of senior developers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and maintaining responsive websites and web applications
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Collaborate with designers and senior developers to implement features and functionality
- Support troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving website/application issues
- Test applications for usability, performance, and cross-browser compatibility
- Stay updated with the latest web development technologies and best practices
Requirements:
- Diploma/Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with at least one web development framework (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue) or backend language (PHP, Node.js, Python, etc.)
- Understanding of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB) is a plus
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
