Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate animal care during consultations, surgeries, and hospitalization to ensure patient well-being
- Operate and assist with advanced veterinary equipment including digital radiography, ultrasound, IDEXX suite, tonometry, and blood pressure machines to support accurate diagnostics
- Thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment by managing multiple tasks efficiently and maintaining high standards of care
- Participate actively in training and mentorship programs to develop veterinary nursing skills and knowledge
- Collaborate effectively with the veterinary team to support surgical and medical procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical and surgical areas to uphold hygiene and safety standards
- Adapt to a 5-day work week schedule including weekends and evenings to meet clinic operational needs
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum diploma qualification as stated in the job description
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Prior experience in veterinary nursing or animal care is preferred but not required for this entry-level role
