Junior Trader (Base Metals)

Our client is an established Commodities company looking to hire for a dynamic individual to join the trading team.

Seek new business opportunities globally and work as a team to develop new accounts

Interact with traders and handle negotiations of both parties (seller and buyer) concerned

Develop new markets and close cooperation with Business Development and other Trading desks

Assist to develop hedging strategies to lock in profitable physical trades and contribute to the management of the teams paper positions

Ensure proper execution of trades (physical and paper)

Job Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Business/Commercial

Minimum 3 years of trading experience

Self-motivated & has the passion to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Possess extensive industry relationships and customer resources

Good knowledge in statistics, currencies, derivatives, and financial instruments

Strong growth Mindset with Entrepreneurial spirit; Self-Starter

Experiences in precious/base metals preferred, other metals will be considered.
