We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Electronics and IT Technical Support to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting electronic components and IT equipment to ensure they meet all quality standards and specifications.
You will work in a fast-paced environment, following established procedures, technical instructions, and safety guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble electronic components and sub-assemblies according to schematics, diagrams, and work instructions.
- Assemble and configure IT equipment such as computers, servers, networking devices, and peripherals.
- Solder, crimp, and wire components using hand tools and automated equipment.
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
- Perform functional testing of assembled units to verify proper operation.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose basic electronic and IT issues.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including component usage and test results.
- Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient production flow.
- Identify and report any production problems or equipment malfunctions.
- Stay up-to-date on new technologies and assembly techniques.
Qualifications:
- Nitec, Diploma or equivalent technical certification in electronics or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in electronics assembly and/or IT equipment assembly.
- Strong understanding of electronic components and circuitry.
- Proficiency in soldering, crimping, and wiring techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and work instructions.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of quality control procedures and inspection techniques.
- Basic troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to quality.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with relevant safety regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
