Junior Support Engineer

StrongKey, a 25 year old, Cupertino, California-based data security company, is looking for a motivated and detail oriented Junior Support Engineer to join our team in our new Singapore office, immediately.

For a quarter century, StrongKey has been laser-focused on a mission to make information trustworthy by using advanced technology based on industry-standard protocols to:

• Establish information authenticity;
• Protect its confidentiality (where necessary);
• Preserve its integrity throughout its life;
• Eliminate passwords completely

In an age of AI slop, rogue AI agents and automated ransomware attacks, this mission has become critical to preserving the internet. We are growing - Singapore is the latest among our R&D locations after Puerto Rico and Calgary, Canada - and we need a Support Engineer to support our worldwide customers.

Qualifications

- Graduate with Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

- 1-3 years maximum of experience in IT support (internships also qualify)

- Must be a Singapore citizen or permanent resident

- Must be an effective communicator in written and spoken English

- Must be able to handle servers weighing 30-35kg.

- Must know Linux/UNIX, Java and strong understanding TCP/IP networking and webservices

– Highly Desirable: Knowledge of Fast Identity Online (FIDO)/WebAuth/Passkeys passwordless authentication and/or Smartcards

Job Duties

Customer Support:

• Work with current customers - local and international - to resolve problems with StrongKey solutions
• Analyze error messages, track down bugs, and fix the errors
• Travel to customer sites to install and configure StrongKey solutions

Product Support

• Test StrongKey solution modules for installation/upgrade for customers
• Work with specialized hardware and software (Hardware Security Modules, Trusted Platform Modules, Security Keys)
• Write Shell scripts to support customer deployments
• Write documentation on complex operations to assist customers to comply with data security regulations
